Public Projects

The proposed project will include replacing pumps at the existing influent pump station, adding a new covered sludge storage facility and truck unloading station, a new 16 inch RAS force main, a new SCADA system, an equalization basin mixing system, oxidation ditch improvements, and clarifier improvements. This is a rebid due the previous design being over budget.

The Project includes the following Work: Abrasive blasting, repair, surface preparation, and painting all interior and exterior surfaces for a 500,000-gallon steel ground storage tank located near the intersection of Twin Creek Road and W. Governor John Sevier Highway. The exterior coatings tested below U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission limits for lead in paint at 2.449 ppm.

The project will include a new access road and parking lot, clearing and grubbing, airfield storm drainage improvements to include stream grading, replacement of existing drainage pipes, and installation of new drainage pipes and structures. The base bids for the project include 335 tons of NCDOT asphalt pavement and approximately 5,000 cubic yards of excavation. Additive bids, if awarded, include an additional approximately 10,000 cubic yards of excavation.

Replacement of approx 1,065 existing sewer and rehabilitation of approx 460 LF and 22 VF manholes

The work will consist of rehabilitation of existing RCP and VCP gravity trunk line in the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority’s (OJRSA) system within existing OJRSA easements and South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) Right-of-Ways ROW. The work consists of approximately 20,685 LF (8” – 6,000; 12” – 1,700; 15”- 12,000; 18” – 350 LF; 30” – 235 LF) of Cured-In-Place Pipe, seven (7) point repairs varying from 8” to 30”, approx.. 700 VF of manhole rehabilitation using calcium aluminum cementitious liner system and select manholes with epoxy, pressure grouting interior manholes for leak prevention, replace and removal of select frame and covers, select manhole cone replacement, and flow control/bypass pumping.

The project will include construction of one 14-unit T-Hangar building. Site preparation will include approximately 15,000 cubic yards of embankment from a borrow source located on the airport property, approximately 870 linear feet of storm drainpipe, approximately 1,200 tones of bituminous asphalt paving for the associated taxilanes, and utility services for the new hangar building (water, sewer, electric).

The Project includes the following Work: • constructing a new 1 MG glass-fused-to-steel bolted steel ground storage tank • associated site grading and piping • associated erosion and sedimentation controls • demolition of existing 200,000 gallon welded steel tank

Construction of new connector taxiway and apron; building pad preparation for new corporate hangars; grading/earthwork; airfield lighting and utility relocation/installation; wet utilities (water, sanitary sewer, and storm) installation; SCM installation; perimeter roadway and parking lot construction; airfield and non-airfield pavement markings

The work will consist of expansion of the water treatment plant (WTP) from 8 million gallons per day (MGD) to 10 MGD

The work to be completed consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for full depth pavement patching and surface milling and overlay improvements for Earl Court, Lester Avenue, Rebecca Street, Cheryl Court, N Cameron Lane, N Elmore Street, Walden Street, Ellington Cove, Highgate Street, Creamoor Lane, Wellesly Court, Silverthorn Street, Amberleigh Court, and Railroad Avenue. Walden Street will require full depth reclamation.
