Construction of proposed permeable pavers at the intersection of Roland Avenue and South Shore Drive, which will reduce flooding on South Shore Drive. The proposed infiltration system includes approximately 43 linear feet of 12” Class V RCP (Reinforced Concrete Pipe), 116 LF of 6” PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), one (1) traffic bearing drop inlet (TBDI), approximately 442 square yards of permeable pavers, traffic control, and erosion control.

Rehabilitation of existing sewer infrastructure within the City of Southport, NC and new construction of approx. 9,000 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer force main connecting Park Ave Pump Station to the manifold force main connection on Hwy 211 in Southport

The Project consists of constructing approximately 4,000 linear feet total of 10-inch HDPE gravity sewer lines installed via pipe bursting, 8-inch PVC and DIP sewer line installed via traditional open-cut, repairing and replacing manholes, as needed, reconnection of sewer services, and abandonment of the existing small-diameter gravity sewer line in Waxhaw. Most of the sewer lines will replace existing small diameter gravity sewer in their existing alignments, installed via pipe bursting. The project involves both pipe bursting methods and conventional open-cut construction methods. Work also includes traffic control, bypass pumping, erosion control, testing, and surface restoration within the project limits.

The Project consists of constructing approximately 810 linear feet of 2-inch water mains, 6,460 linear feet of 6-inch water mains, 6,630 linear feet of 8-in water mains, 1,010 linear feet of 12-in water mains and related appurtenances on Concord Highway, Jack Connell Rd, Old Dutch Rd, Deepwood Pl, Sherin Ln, Sikes Mill Rd, Tyler Ridge Ct, Clontz Long Rd, and Private Drive off of Sikes Mill Rd.

Restoring approximately 1,500 linear feet of stream and construction a bioretention pond and drainage improvements in the Whispering Ponds Mobile Home Park.

The work will consist of the following: Base Bid: Demolition and construction of improvements to the existing Influent Pump Station Building, removal and replacement of three (3) Evoqua screw lift pumps with new Evoqua equipment, building ventilation improvements, electrical and SCADA modifications, and associated appurtenances as shown in the Plans and Specifications. Alternate Bid No. 1: Removal and replacement of three (3) Evoqua screw lift pumps with new Lakeside equipment, modification of concrete supports and associated work as shown in the Plans and Specifications. Alternate Bid No. 2: Removal and replacement of the two (2) Motor Control Centers (MCCs) in the existing Influent Pump Station Building as shown in the Plans and Specifications.

A general description of the work includes, without limitation: Rehabilitation and replacement of facilities and equipment at three (3) lift stations located at Moore Street, Ninth Street, and Park Avenue in the City of Southport, NC.

The Project includes the following Work: Demolition of the existing spring cover and construction of a new masonry springhouse; and vegetative filter strip construction for filtering contaminated runoff.

Work of the Project includes the rehabilitation of Owner’s Pump Sation No. 29 generally includ-ing the following: PS No. 29: Force main relocation, installation of one (1) new sewer manhole, gravity sewer in-stallation, by-pass pumping, cleaning, application of cementitious material to restore existing wetwell and installation of epoxy protective coating, concrete pavement replacement, electrical improvements, SCADA improvements, and all other appurtenances as shown in the contract documents.

The project will include the demolition of the existing terminal building and construction of the new terminal building within the same footprint. The project will also include re-construction of the adjacent access drive and parking area for the terminal building. The site work will involve removal of approximately 1800 square yards of asphalt pavement, approximately 1,500 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, approximately 2,100 square yards of 12” deep crushed aggregate base course, and approximately 525 tons of asphalt pavement. The site development will also include about 600 linear feet of storm pipe, and water and sewer service laterals.
